Join SMCEDU during Digital Capital Week as we feature a panel of experts from different areas to discuss social media and education:
Eddie Lee
Eddie is from the Department of Education and recently ran a successful student video contest that had students express their views on education.
Eddie is also very involved in the new media groups in the Obama administration, and was on the new media team for the Obama campaign, and also works closely with the White House on various new media and social media initiatives.
Steve Radick
Steve is one of the leads for Booz Allen Hamilton's social media/Gov 2.0 practice, and works with clients across the public sector to integrate social media strategies and tactics into their organizational strategies.
Steve's desire to have students graduate as knowledgable practitioners of social media helped create the SMCEDU project, and has always advocated that it's the people and processes that determine the success of social media.
You can read his blog at SteveRadick.com, and you can follow him on Twitter using @sradick.
Alex Priest
Alex is an undergraduate student at American University, double-majoring in marketing and public communications. Though still in school, Alex has earned a reputation as one of the most active and knowledgeable users of social media both on his campus and in the DC area.
Alex blogs regularly at AlexPriest.com, and you can follow him on Twitter using @alexpriest
